Mimio Interactive unveils a new projector for classrooms

The developer of interactive teaching technologies Mimio Interactive projector has added to its suite MimioClassroom, the MimioProjector, that allows teachers to show graphical multimedia lessons on any flat surface.
Mimio has announced the latest addition to its family of products MimioClassroom, Interactive projector MimioProjector, a device that responds to the needs of interactive visualization of all classrooms. The MimioProjector is an affordable and easy-to-use features include a tracking technology, a stereo amplifier, speakers and MimioStudio software.
Teachers can quickly and easily create multimedia lessons and then show lessons, graphics and images on a dry erase board or other flat surface. The images projected by the MimioStudio software can be manipulated by students using an interactive pen or pencil. A double pen option allows two students to interact with the same image at the same time, increasing the ability of teachers to incorporate collaborative learning and small group instruction in their classrooms.
Schools with budget constraints can start with the basic version of MimioProjector, not including interactive features, and then gradually add interactive functions through improvements in their own classroom.
Compatible with 3D
The MimioProjector supports all common video formats, including VGA, HDMI, S-video and composite video and offers a native resolution of 1280×800 (WXGA). It features 3D graphics capabilities supporting 3D DLP Link and 3D HDMI 1.4a. Its high image resolution and color produces images like real life for improved visualization of charts, graphics, illustrations and simulations. The audio playback system offers stereo sound through two speakers 8 Watt increasing the listening experience for users.
The MimioProjector interactive projector integrates seamlessly with other products MimioClassroom – including evaluation MimioVote, MimioView document camera, wireless pen and tablet MimioPad- through the intuitive software MimioStudio, eliminating the need for additional software training when educators expand their interactive classroom technology. The projector also integrates with Mimio content as readers and other contributions of content.
